مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي يفتح باب التقديم لمشاريع “ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي”
أعلن مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي عن فتح باب التقديم للمشاركة في النسخة الحادية عشرة من ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي، ضمن فعاليات دورته السادسة والأربعين التي تقام في الفترة من 12 إلى 21 نوفمبر 2025. يستمر استقبال الطلبات من 7 مايو حتى 1 أغسطس 2025، عبر الموقع الرسمي للمهرجان: www.ciff.org.eg.
ويُعد ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي منصة احترافية مخصصة لدعم مشاريع الأفلام الروائية والوثائقية الطويلة من العالم العربي، في مرحلتي التطوير وما بعد الإنتاج. ويهدف إلى تمكين صُنّاع السينما العرب من خلال تقديم منح مالية وخدمات إنتاجية وفرص للتواصل مع أبرز الممولين والمنتجين والموزعين من العالم.
وقال الفنان الكبير حسين فهمي، رئيس المهرجان: “نؤمن في مهرجان القاهرة بأن دعم صُنّاع الأفلام من المنطقة هو حجر الأساس في ازدهار السينما العربية. ملتقى القاهرة أصبح منصة حقيقية لإطلاق المشاريع الواعدة، ونحن فخورون بما حققه خلال السنوات الماضية من اكتشاف لمواهب جديدة وتعزيز لحضور السينما العربية دوليًا”.
وأضاف الناقد محمد طارق، المدير الفني للمهرجان: “نحرص في كل دورة على أن نقدم دعمًا ملموسًا ومتنوعًا لمشاريع تمتاز بالجرأة والخصوصية الفنية. ملتقى القاهرة ليس فقط ساحة لعرض المشاريع، بل مساحة للتفاعل والتبادل الخلاق بين صناع السينما والممولين والمبرمجين من مختلف أنحاء العالم”.
وشهدت السنوات الأخيرة بروز عدد من المشاريع التي تلقت دعمًا من ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي، ونجحت لاحقًا في تمثيل السينما العربية في أبرز المحافل السينمائية الدولية، ومن أبرزها “بنات ألفة” للمخرجة التونسية كوثر بن هنية، “إن شاء الله ولد” للمخرج الأردني أمجد الرشيد، “وداعًا جوليا” للمخرج السوداني محمد كردفاني، و”الحياة بعد سهام” للمخرج المصري نمير عبد المسيح.
وفي هذا السياق، صرّح محمد سيد عبد الرحيم، مدير “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما”، قائلاً: “على مدار عشر سنوات، أثبت ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي مكانته كأحد أهم منصات تطوير المشاريع في المنطقة العربية، ليس فقط من خلال عدد الجوائز والدعم الذي يوفره، بل من خلال نوعية الأفلام التي تخرج منه.”
وكانت الدورة الماضية (نوفمبر 2024) قد شهدت تنافس 18 مشروعًا من 13 دولة عربية، وحصل المشاركون على 31 جائزة بقيمة تجاوزت 220 ألف دولار، تنوعت بين منح نقدية وخدمات عينية من شركات ومؤسسات إنتاج وتوزيع محلية ودولية.
الملتقى يفتح الباب أمام المشاريع الروائية والوثائقية الطويلة، في مرحلتي التطوير أو ما بعد الإنتاج، والتي يقدمها صُنّاع أفلام من الدول العربية، بشرط أن يكون مخرج المشروع عربي الجنسية أو من أصول عربية.
شروط التقديم • أن يكون المخرج من جنسية عربية أو من أصول عربية.
• أن يكون المشروع لفيلم طويل (روائي أو وثائقي) في مرحلة التطوير أو ما بعد الإنتاج.
• أن يمتلك المخرج فيلما واحدا على الأقل سابقًا (طويلاً أو قصيراً).
يشكل ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي بوابة رئيسية لصناع السينما العرب للوصول إلى الإنتاج المشترك والأسواق العالمية، ويواصل عبر دوراته المتتالية تعزيز حضور السينما العربية على الساحة الدولية.
ويُعد مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، الذي تأسس عام 1976، واحدًا من أبرز المهرجانات في المنطقة العربية والقارة الأفريقية، ويحمل تصنيفًا دوليًا رسميًا ضمن فئة A، وهو الوحيد في العالم العربي وأفريقيا المعتمد من الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات منتجي الأفلام (FIAPF).

Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) has announced the opening of submissions for the 11th edition of the Cairo Film Connection, part of the festival’s 46th edition, scheduled to take place from November 12 to 21, 2025. Applications will be accepted from May 7 through August 1, 2025, via the festival’s official website: www.ciff.org.eg.
Cairo Film Connection is a professional platform dedicated to supporting feature-length narrative and documentary projects from the Arab world, in both development and post-production stages. It aims to empower Arab filmmakers by providing financial grants, production services, and valuable opportunities to connect with key producers, funders, and distributors from across the globe.
Renowned actor Hussein Fahmy, President of CIFF, commented:
“At CIFF, we strongly believe that supporting filmmakers from the region is fundamental to the growth of Arab cinema. Cairo Film Connection has become a true platform for launching promising projects. We take pride in what it has achieved over the years in discovering new talents and enhancing Arab cinema’s presence on the global stage.”

In recent years, numerous projects supported by Cairo Film Connection have gone on to represent Arab cinema at major international festivals. Notable examples include:
“Four Daughters” by Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania,
“Inshallah a Boy” by Jordanian director Amjad Al-Rasheed,
“Goodbye Julia” by Sudanese director Mohamed Kordofani,
and “The Brink of Dreams” by Egyptian director Namir Abdel Messeeh.
Mohamed Sayed Abdel Rahim, Head of Cairo Industry Days, stated:
“Over the past ten years, the Cairo Film Connection has solidified its position as one of the most vital development platforms in the Arab region—not only because of the awards and funding it offers, but also because of the caliber of films it helps bring to life.”
The previous edition in November 2024 hosted 18 projects from 13 Arab countries, with participants receiving 31 awards exceeding $220,000 in combined value, including cash prizes and in-kind services offered by local and international production and distribution partners.
Eligible projects must be feature-length (narrative or documentary) films in either the development or post-production phase, submitted by filmmakers from Arab countries. The director must be of Arab nationality or origin.
